ACHIEVE-OWEGO The Mission of ACHIEVE to advocate for an enhanced quality of life through skill advancement, inclusion, integration, socialization, and independence of persons with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities through services provided in Broome, Chenango & Tioga Counties. Services include day habilitation, one year pathway to employment (exploration), supported employment (working to full independence),


Community Options: Office in Binghamton, serving Tioga County: Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit incorporated in 1989 with the mission to develop homes and employment for people with disabilities. Community Options, Inc. believes in the dignity of every person, and in the freedom of all people to experience the highest degree of self-determination. Embracing this philosophy, Community Options provides housing, support services and advocacy assistance to help empower thousands of people with disabilities. Community Options supports integrated employment and housing opportunities.


Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) is a course sponsored through Community Options: Pre -ETS provides education in the areas of: Job exploration, work-based readiness, advocacy and social/independent living skills. Tioga Career Center (Tioga WorkForce)- Owego CareerBound connects young adults (ages 18-24) to the tools they need to succeed in today’s careers. Job placement, skills, short-term job training.
